BYKER GRAVE 2014

Inverted Grim-Mill Recordings and Omega Warfare Records present

BYKER GRAVE FESTIVAL 2014

Saturday 29th of November, 3pm - 11pm, The Globe, Newcastle Upon Tyne

What Started last year as a last minute replacement for the cancelled Northern Darkness festival and, by all acounts, turned into a triumph of mess and metal, Byker Grave is back for a second edition! This time around, the line-up features a selection of hand-picked bands representing the best of the North East and UK underground scenes.

Tickets are available now for £10 in advance from:

Omega Warfare Bigcartel

WODENSTHRONE

Currently taking a break from live shows to concentrate on their third album, the North Eastern black metallers return for a one-off UK performance to warm-up for a US festival appearance.

AGELESS OBLIVION

New album Penthos has received praise from all over the place, perhaps in part to the Century Media machine behind it. Hailed as everything from "the future of metal" (by Metal Hammer) to "really fucking good" (by James Hill / Omega Warfare Records), don't miss the chance to see them at an intimate venue while you can.

SEA BASTARD

INVERTED GRIM-MILL RECORDINGS BANDCAMP

Inverted Grim-Mill Recordings is now on bandcamp.

Three things are currently found there, one each by Neolithic, Iron Skull and Ross Oliver. A short description of each can be found on the virtual flyer above, and more details are available on the individual release pages on Bandcamp. All these sounds are free (pay what you want) to download with limited edition physical versions due out in the coming months. There'll be a more in-depth look at each release as they become available to purchase, but for now you can listen and/or download at the link below:

IRON SKULL

It gives me great pleasure to announce that Inverted Grim-Mill Recordings will be releasing music by Wakefield's finest band Iron Skull. The first release will be the as-yet unreleased 2002 lost classic Kirkgate Station Sessions EP. The tracklisting will be as follows:

1. You Four Eyed Nerd
2. From Bach To Bananas
3. Gammon and Lard Butty
4. More For You For Fucking Less
5. Parsnip
6. Visceral Images of a Whore
7. Troll Features

The CD packaging is well under way. The design atop this post shows the hand-carved rubber stamp used to print the CD surfaces, and the logo design below is printed on the front cover of the booklet. There will be 100 copies of this release, ready for you to purchase in the near future... in the mean time, click on the song titles above for a sneak preview!
